An F-35A Lightning II assigned to the 421st Fighter Squadron takes off from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., during Red Flag 20-1. Red Flag exercises give Airmen an opportunity to experience advanced, relevant and realistic combat situations in a controlled environment, increasing their ability to complete missions and safely return home.
